Economy ideas
Having a strong military can be very expensive, so only a few soldiers should fight directly under the player's command. This would be countered by the player giving villages to great warriors and then order them to take their soldiers and fight for their King and God.

This would be hard to program, and difficult to play, but these are the rules of feudalism.

Giving terrain to vassals (those above peasants, like earls, knights etc.) gives the player the possibility of gaining better types of units, such as those which cannot be recruited from simple peasants.
