Main game principles of Rules of Feudalism
The whole point of Rules of Feudalism was to deal with flaws in other games. I feel that the following are the most important points which motivate Rules of Feudalism:
  • Battles should be more realistic: division into individual units is essential, but still keeping a soldier as a particular object
  • The economy should only depend on the player indirectly: villages should be situated on the map, which the player can take over, but the citizens should themselves decide to make new towns etc.
A lot of the important programming has been done, but help is needed, especially artists.
